The development at Grover Close consists of four blocks of three and four storey social housing apartments for High Town Praetorian Housing Association constructed on an insitu concrete transfer slab over a basement car park.

Contractors Design Services were charged by Toureen Mangan Ltd with the design and detailing of the basement and retaining walls and transfer slab. The floor of the basement and the transfer slab above follow the natural slope of the site.
The transfer slab was further complicated by the layout of the load bearing walls that supported the apartments that did not reflect the layout of the columns within the basement.
